Isaac Saviour Leads Al Ittihad’s Resilient Response in Egypt
The former Enugu Rangers midfielder once again showcased his quality in midfield as Al Ittihad fought back in a demanding away fixture at Al Salam Stadium.

While Saviour was making headlines in Egypt, Clinton Jephta was once again at the heart of FC Inter Turku’s attacking success in Finland.
The former Niger Tornadoes star produced another influential display as league leaders Inter Turku secured a 1-1 draw against title rivals KuPS at Väre Areena.
Jephta’s impact arrived shortly after halftime when he launched a dangerous counterattack before racing down the flank and delivering a pinpoint cross for Alie Conteh to head home.
The assist marked his third consecutive game creating a goal for a teammate and extended an outstanding run of five straight matches with direct goal involvement.
Although Jaime Moreno later equalised for KuPS, Jephta’s contribution ensured Inter Turku left with an important point and maintained their four-point lead at the summit of the standings.
The 19-year-old has now registered eight goal involvements this season, recording three goals and five assists across all competitions.
