Tragedy rocked Aba yesterday as trailer container fully laden with goods fell on a vehicle along the ever busy Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway.

An eyewitness, who spoke to Kristina Reports on condition of anonymity, said the incident happened at the timber market, close to Ariaria junction.

He narrated that the tragic incident happened as a result of the dilapidated nature of the road, adding that the container fell on top of a car fully laden with goods, heading to Port Harcourt.

According to him, no life was lost in the accident as he added that the driver and passengers who boarded the vehicle left some minutes after their vehicle broke down on the bad spot before the trailer container fell on it.

“We thank God for what we witnessed today, the driver and passengers that were in this vehicle just pulled out some minutes ago before this tragic incident happened. their motor sank on this bad spot of the road. What if they were still here? We thank God that no life was lost today”.

It will interest you to know that this is not the first time such incident had occurred on the road because of the bad nature of the road.
