Our attention has been drawn to a publication in Kristina Reports media outfit, captioned FINIMA COMMUNITY of 22nd May, 2022, in which Evans Clement Brown, Barr. Abel Attoni and Amasenibo Dagogo A. Tobin; duly signed as authors of the said publication.

We hereby wish to correct the incorrect and deceptive impression to members of the public and make bold to state as follows:

1. That the claim of Barr. Abel A. Attoni, as Chief of Attoni House is not true, by reason of the recent ruling of the Court of Appeal in Suit No. CA/PH/208/2013. Therefore, his recent public representation as Chief of Attoni House is highly contemptuous, as he does not have the legitimate basis to so do.

• Furthermore, the Attoni House is also aware of the restraining order on Barr. Abel A. Attoni to include his privies, supporters and agents from representing the Attoni House in whatsoever capacity.

• That the Attoni House have been in cordial relationship from time immemorial with the Buoye Omuso Brown Major House of Finima, from which the Attoni House was created as a Minor (Kalawari) House, in accordance with the well-known Ibani customs and traditions.  

• That we, the Elders and principal members of the Attoni House had in no time met to discuss and mandate Barr. Abel A. Attoni or any person to take such an untraditional position in matters that relates to the development of Finima Community. 

• We are fully aware of the existence of Finima Capacity Development Committee (FCDC) since 2014, in which the Attoni House is duly represented as in other committees. 

• We are also aware that the Buoye Omuso Brown Major House has always stood in support of the Attoni House, in all manners, including the recently squashed installation of the said Barr. Abel A. Attoni. 

• It is on record that his grandfather, late Chief Abel Adafe Attoni was Chief and Head of Attoni House that seated as Vice Chairman of the legitimate leadership of the Buoye Omuso Brown Major House of Finima.

We hereby call the public to discountenance the purported press release of 22^nd May, 2022, as it lacks merit and never represented the vast majority opinion and views of the Attoni House. It only represents the display of marionettes at work to impress their master.
