Niger Tornadoes Slammed 3million Naira Fine for Matchday 23 Misconduct

Niger Tornadoes have been charged for breaching NPFL24 Framework & Rules in the course of their Matchday 23 game vs Rangers at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium which ended in a 0-2 defeat to the home side, Niger Tornadoes.

Tornadoes failed to provide adequate & effective security resulting in unauthorized persons gaining access to restricted areas.

There was also encroachment onto the pitch by Tornadoes officials & unauthorized persons during the game vs Rangers on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

Niger Tornadoes are further charged for conducting themselves in a manner capable of bringing the game to disrepute.

A fine of One Million Naira is imposed on Tornadoes for failing to provide adequate security.

Tornadoes will pay another One Million Naira fine for encroachment onto the pitch during the match vs Rangers.

A further One Million Naira fine is slammed on the Minna club for general misconduct.

Niger Tornadoes have 48 hours from the date of this notice to appeal or accept these sanctions.

Tornadoes sit 18th in the NPFL Log and are battling to stay afloat in the league.
