COVID-19: Ms World United Nations donates Palliatives to Bonny Community

The Allaputa House of Akiama Community in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria have praised Ms World United Nations, Queen Hadassah Ibinyingi Allaputa for her show of compassion during the COVID-19 pandemic.

They thanked her for providing them with palliatives to cushion the harsh effects of the lockdown and economic crunch resulting from the pandemic.

Youth Leader of Akiama Community, Ibifubara Allaputa celebrated her achievement as Ms World United Nations, saying she has made Akiama community and Bonny Kingdom proud.

He noted that the donation of palliatives to the community underscores her compassion for the less privileged.

Speaking on behalf of the women in the community, Tamunotonye Allaputa said the women were very excited over the palliatives and prays that God will continue to bless her.

She added that the beneficiaries will judiciously utilize the palliatives received to cater to their needs during this COVID-19 period.

Two female beneficiaries of the palliatives prayed that God will continue to bless the beauty queen in all her endeavours for remembering the community and her family.

On her part, Ms World United Nations, Queen Hadassah Ibinyingi Allaputa called on well-meaning individuals and corporate organizations to reach out to the less privileged around them with palliatives.

She made this appeal through her father, Hamilton Allaputa, saying that the gesture was driven by her broadmindedness and compassion.

the reigning Ms World United Nations also expressed utmost gratitude to members of her team that contributed immensely to make the initiative a success, stressing that their efforts would always be remembered.

The COVID-19 pandemic, which has been ravaging parts of the globe arrived Nigeria earlier this year and forced the government at all levels to introduce certain measures to checkmate community spread of the disease.

These measures have now had very adverse socio-economic effects on the livelihoods of the people thus necessitating the provision of palliatives by government at all levels and public spirited individuals including the reigning Ms World United Nations.
