CDCFIB Moves to Next Stage of 2024/2025 Recruitment Exercise

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of the next stage of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.

In a press release issued on Saturday June 13, 2026 by the Secretary to the Board, Major General A.M. Jibril (Rtd.), the Board disclosed that the next phase will involve physical screening and document verification for applicants who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in November 2025.

According to the statement, affected applicants are to visit the Board’s official recruitment portal at recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng between Monday, June 15 and Friday, June 20, 2026, to check their application status.

The Board stated that candidates must log in using their application numbers generated during registration. Those shortlisted will be required to upload their credentials and select a preferred date and venue for their physical screening.

The CDCFIB emphasised that the recruitment process is entirely free, warning applicants against paying any fees to individuals or groups claiming to offer assistance with shortlisting, documentation, or placement.

It also urged the public to disregard fraudulent messages, links, and unauthorised persons, stressing that all official updates will be communicated through the recruitment portal and other approved channels.

The Board reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process in line with established guidelines.
