Bonny Island is currently agog with jubilation as Dennis Ezekiel-Hart and Maclean Akwe, the two kidnap victims of Sunday night just regained their freedom and on their way back to Bonny.

The duo were abducted on the night of Sunday, July 11, 2021 by unknown gunmen from DAH-Palladium Event Centre, Abalamabie in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State.

A reliable source within the security sector confirmed the release of the two men to Kristina Reports on Friday, July 16, 2021.

“Yes, it’s true, they have been released and they are on their way to Bonny as we speak.” The Nigeria Police was yet to respond to an enquiry from Kristina Reports on the issue.
