Isife’s goal came as part of a strong attacking display that underlined Slavia’s superiority in the 1. Liga Championship Group.

The win ensured the club clinched their 23rd league title, finishing well ahead of rivals Sparta Prague.

The Nigerian winger, who joined Slavia in January from Dukla Prague on a long-term deal, marked the occasion by finally opening his goal account after 13 appearances.

His strike added to an impressive all-round contribution since arriving in the Czech capital.

The match itself was one-sided from the start. Slavia took control early, scoring through Štěpán Chaloupek before Isife doubled the lead before half-time.

That goal shifted momentum firmly in favour of the hosts, who never looked back.

After the break, Slavia continued to press forward, with Tomáš Holeš and Chaloupek again adding to the scoreline.

Championship confirmed as Slavia extend domestic dominance

Although Jablonec managed a consolation goal through Eduard Sobol, the contest had already been decided.

Compatriots Igoh Ogbu and David Moses also featured in the match before being substituted in the second half, while Mubarak Suleiman remained an unused substitute.

The victory secured Slavia’s place at the top of the table, finishing seven points clear of Sparta Prague.

It also continues their strong domestic run, following their previous league success in the 2024–25 season, where they finished with 90 points.

With the title already wrapped up, Slavia still have two fixtures left, away to Hradec Králové and at home against Viktoria Plzeň.

For Isife, it is a breakthrough moment in a rapidly developing career, as he joins a growing list of Nigerian players making their mark across Europe.
