Jack-Manilla Pepple House Donates Land to Anglican Church; Chief Attributes Strides to Divine Grace
In expression of gratitude for divine blessings received, the Jack-Manilla Pepple Chieftaincy House of Bonny Kingdom has donated a 90ft by 300ft (three plots) land to St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Abalamabie in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State.
This is just as the Chief and Head of the House, Se-Alabo Iganima Jack-Manilla Pepple attributed the successes achieved by the House since he assumed headship of the House to divine helps received from God Almighty.

Se-Alabo Jack-Manilla Pepple announced the donation Wednesday, May 6, 2026 during a Thanksgiving Service at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Abalamabie.
The service was in commemoration of the commissioning and opening of the Opuwari (townhall) and unveiling of the statue of late Chief Gboboitemegha Ncheke Jack Manilla-Pepple, the founder of the House.
“After much consultation with the members of this House and the ratification of the cabinet of Jack Manilla Pepple Chieftaincy House, we have resolved that we are going to donate 90 by 3200 feet land to St. Mark’s Anglican Church.”
The traditional ruler stressed that God Almighty has been helping the Chieftaincy House in its efforts at navigating challenges that has faced it in recent times, noting that even the construction of the Opuwari was only possible because of divine help which the House has received.



































In attendance at the church service were members of the Bonny Chiefs Council (BCC) led by its Vice Chairman, Se-Alabo Haniel Jack-Wilson Pepple, and Se-Alabo Evans Brown, Se-Alabo Adiesigha Halliday, Se-Alabo Benjamin Ada Allison, Se-Alabo Rufus Jekey Green, and Se-Alabo Golden Christy-Wilcox.
Other dignitaries include the Prelate of the Christ Army Church Nigeria (CACN), His Eminence, The Most Rev. Dappa Opubo Abbey (JP), Deputy Leader, Lawrence Idasoalabo, and other members of the Bonny Legislative Assembly, members of the Bonny Kingdom Titled Citizens Assembly, Bonny Women Forum, political stalwarts, captains of industry, and community leaders, amongst others.
