After a 66 years interregnum, the Jack Manilla Pepple Chieftaincy House of Bonny Kingdom now has a Chief and Head, effectively putting to rest the leadership debacle that has afflicted the House for these number of years.

The immediate past Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the House, Sir Iganima Pepple was installed as the Chief and Head of the Jack Manilla Pepple Chieftaincy House on Saturday, July 30, 2022 in Oguede Community in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The Chief and Head of the Fubara Manilla Pepple Chieftaincy House, Se-Alabo Waripanye Valentine Pepple, Fubara XV, performed capping ceremony shortly after Sir Iganima Pepple was elected by the Council of Wariseniapu of the House.

Chief Fubara XV described the emergence of the Warialabo Iganima Pepple as “a sign of good things to come for the members of the Jack Manilla Pepple Chieftaincy House”.

“I am so excited and happy. May we enjoy more joyful news. A new Wari-Alabo emerged and was capped.”

Se-Alabo Pepple expressed gratitude to the Amanyanabo and Natural Ruler of Bonny Kingdom, His Majesty, King Dr Edward Asimini William Dappa Pepple, CON, JP, Perekule XI, and the Bonny Chiefs Council (BCC) for the success of the event.

“A big thank you to His Majesty, the King, Bonny Chiefs’ Council, whose two delegates, Se-Alapu Christy Wilcox and Abel Attoni graced the event meritoriously.”

He regretted that the Jack Manilla Pepple House, an offshoot of the Fubara Manilla Pepple House, had to endure years of leadership intermission.

The BCC was represented at the occasion by the Chiefs and Heads of Christy-Wilcox and Attoni Chieftaincy Houses, Se-Alabo Golden Christy-Wilcox and Se-Alabo Abel Attoni, respectively.
