The Bonny Kingdom Development Committee (BKDC) has applauded the Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Dame Anengi Claude-Wilcox for mainstreaming the actualization of the developmental vision of the Amanyanabo and Natural Ruler of Bonny Kingdom.

Chairman of the BKDC, Amaopusenibo Amairigha Hart, who gave this applause on Monday, February 5, 2024 in a statement he personally signed and made exclusively available to Kristina Reports in Bonny, Rivers State.

He said that the commissioning of the newly built administrative office of the Bonny Integrated Recruitment Centre (BIRC) is part of the developmental vision of the Amanyanabo of Bonny Kingdom, which forms part of the core mandate of the BKDC.

“She has continued to advertise her government as a key stakeholder in the realization fo the King’s vision, and this edifice consolidates on that posture of hers.

“Our dear Alabota Dame Anengi Barasua Claude-Wilcox has continued to create a seamless interface between her administration and the BKDC thus making the realization of the Committee’s core mandate a walk in the park. We commend her for this.”

Amaopusenibo Hart stated that the commissioning of the new elegant edifice underscores the fact that the King’s transformative vision for Bonny Kingdom was fully on course, assuring the Bonny LGA Chairman that the Committee would not only sustain its working relationship with her administration but provide it the needed support at all times.  

He praised Dame Claude-Wilcox for being intentional and definite in her determination to deliver qualitative projects, noting that the projects, which he described as “high value projects”, have “served the people well and improved their standard of living”.

He encouraged her to sustain the drive to transform Bonny Kingdom through good governance delivery, transformative initiatives, and people empowerment, assuring her that Bonny people will continue to support her as “she has shown overwhelmingly her unflinching love for the people”.

The Bonny Kingdom Development Committee (BKDC) is special purpose vehicle created by the Bonny Monarch to coordinate development efforts across Bonny Kingdom by way of needs assessment articulation, advocacy, stakeholder management, strategic partnership mobilization and linkages management.
