‘Oshosho’ of Bonny Kingdom Hails Rivers Governor, Fubara for Appointing Aye Pepple RISAA MD

A former First Lady of Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State, Amaopuorubo Rosannah Hilkiah Igoni has praised Governor Siminalayi Fubara for appointing her kinsman, Aye Pepple as Managing Director of the Rivers State Signage and Advertising Agency (RISAA).

Amaopuorubo Igoni, who is popularly known as “Oshosho of Bonny Kingdom”, came out with this on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 in a statement she made exclusively available to Kristina Reports in Bonny, Rivers State.

I, “Oshosho” of Bonny Kingdom, Amaopuorubo Hon. Lady Rosannah Hilkiah T. Igoni, MOH, KSQ, JP, former First Lady of Bonny LGA, wishes to thank the Executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Amaopusenibo Sir Siminalayi Fubara for appointing my beloved brother, Amasenibo Hon. Aye Atamah Pepple as the Managing Director of Rivers State Signage and Advertising Agency (RISAA). I say a Very Big Thank You, Your Excellency Sir.”

She also used the opportunity to congratulate Aye Pepple on his new appointment, stating that she is convinced that he has what it takes to deliver on the assignment given to him by the Governor.

“I congratulate the former House of Assembly member, Hon. Aye A. Pepple on his appointment as the Managing Director of Rivers State Signage and Advertising Agency (RISAA) by the Rivers State Governor, Amaopusenibo Sir Siminalayi Fubara.”

“I believe you have the capacity and sagacity to deliver. I pray the Lord to continue to be their shepherd as they move Rivers State and Bonny LGA forward.”

She expressed the hope that with his appointment, Pepple will bring his wealth of experience in public and private sectors to bear on the governance of the State, stressing that “for sure, he will support our dear Governor and brother to succeed in providing the dividends of governance”.

Amaopuorubo Rosannah Igoni, who was the First Lady when her husband, Hilkiah Igoni, was a Caretaker Committee Chairman of Bonny LGA, has continued to be a pillar of support to her political party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and also contributing to the development of Bonny Kingdom, which saw her being conferred with the highest female title in the Kingdom, Amaopuorubo.
