Fubara’s Government, People-Friendly, Ex-Perm Sec Says as Eleme Stakeholders Galvanize Support for Rivers Governor

As political stakeholders in Ebubu Clan, Ward 4 in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State rally around Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, a former Permanent Secretary in the State, Chief Fortune Oguru has described the current administration as “people-friendly”.  

Chief Oguru, who is the Leader of the Simplified Movement in Ebubu Ward 4, said this while addressing stakeholders from various political divides who converged at his residence in Eleme, Rivers State.

He emphasized the importance of unity as a pre-requisite for the success of the Simplified Movement in Ebubu, using the opportunity to solicit for support for the Siminalayi Fubara led administration.

On his part, a former President of the Ebubu Youth Council, Chief Samuel Ngobe described the meeting as an amalgamation of all groups loyal to the Simplified Movement under one leadership at the ward level in a manner that provides participation for all.

A former Leader of the Eleme Legislative Assembly and Councillor for Ebubu Ward 4, Temple Amba called for transparent leadership that guarantees equality, stressing the need for unity among members of the Simplified Movement.

The need to galvanize support for the Governor was adopted as a consensus position as part of resolutions at the Stakeholder Meeting with participants unanimously agreeing to support and work for the success of the Siminalayi Fubara led administration in the State.

The meeting ended in a ‘consensus ad idem’ to remain committed to the Sim Fubara led administration and work towards its success.
