Nathan Tella runs the show as Bayer Leverkusen dismantle RB Leipzig at BayArena
Nathan Tella delivered a complete attacking display as Bayer Leverkusen powered to a commanding 4–1 victory over RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga on Saturday evening.

The Super Eagles star was central to everything good about Bayer Leverkusen’s attack, setting up the opener before calmly adding his own goal to cap a dominant first-half performance.

Leipzig started brightly and threatened early through Rômulo Cardoso, but Leverkusen struck first against the run of play.
Patrik Schick found the net against his former side after being teed up by Tella, whose composure in the final third proved decisive.
The Nigerian winger then turned scorer just before the break. Timing his run perfectly, Nathan Tella slipped behind the defence to finish a precise delivery from Aleix García and double Leverkusen’s lead.

Nathan Tella’s influence extended beyond his goal involvement, as his movement and direct running kept Leipzig unsettled throughout his time on the pitch.
Leipzig attempted to respond after the interval, but Leverkusen remained in control. Schick added a third with a clinical run in behind before Christoph Baumgartner pulled one back for the visitors.

Any hopes of a comeback were quickly ended as Schick completed his hat-trick to restore the three-goal cushion.
Tella, who now has five goal contributions in 17 Bundesliga appearances this season, was substituted in the 77th minute for Ernest Poku after another impressive outing.
The result ends Leipzig’s five-match winning streak and lifts Bayer Leverkusen into the Bundesliga top four with just two games left. Their Champions League hopes are now firmly in their own hands.
Leipzig, meanwhile, remain in contention but must secure at least one win from their remaining fixtures to confirm qualification.
