The Media Community is mourning as funeral obsequies in honour of late Celine Nwachukwu, demised wife of BusinessDay South-South Regional Editor, Ignatius Nwachukwu begins today with a Service of Songs.

The sad news of Mrs. Nwachukwu’s demise had left the Media Community, friends and well-wishers in a sad mood when it occurred late 2023.

According to the programme of activities released by her bereaved husband, Ignatius and made available to Kristina Reports, the sequence of events begins on Friday, February 2, 2024 with a Service of Songs at Redemption Hall Model Parish of the Redeem Christian Church of God in Elelenwo, No. 56 Station Road, Port Harcourt, at 4pm.

Her remains will make a brief stop-over on Wednesday, February 10, 2024at her father’s compound in Okwu Nguru in Aboh Mbaise LGA before proceeding to her husband’s compound in Mbutu-Nweorie Community also in Aboh Mbaise LGA where a funeral ceremony will be held in her honour.

The Statement informs that a combined church service and interment will hold at the JC Nwachukwu Compound by Time 10am where her life’s story and achievements will be reflected on.

Kristina Reports learnt that the late Celine Nwachukwu was very dear to her husband as he fondly speaks passionately of her, her demise left lovers of the veteran, friends, mentees and wishers very sad as they sympathise with him.
