For those who would be attending the 2020 edition of the popular MC JP Comedy Banquet, laughter will be served big time on the menu, the organizers, Blossom Entertainment have assured.

Host of the event and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Blossom Entertainment, Justice Kalada Jumbo, also known as MC JP and Comedian JP, gave this assurance in a chat with Kristina Reports in Bonny Island during the week.

“It will be like no other, laughter is what we promise and laughter is what we will serve on the menu and everyone will have more than they paid for. Everyone should come smiling and expectant.”

According to the Blossom Entertainment boss, the MC JP Comedy Banquet 2020, tagged “The Lockdown Experience” will take place at the Women’s Hall, King William Dappa Pepple Road on Saturday, December 26, 2020. Red carpet will open by 4pm while the main event goes down by 5pm.

MC JP Comedy Banquet is annual comedy show hosted by the legendary stand-up comedy maestro, MC JP alongside other top comedians, artistes, and performers. Though hosted in different cities across the country, the Bonny version of the event holds on the last weekend of every year in Bonny Island, Rivers State, Nigeria.

The multitalented host of the show, MC JP has won plaudits for his classic delivery of high quality and entertaining jokes, panache for event compering, singing dexterity and several sterling competences exemplified in the several awards he has won both with and outside Rivers State.

He has performed on the big stage alongside stand-up comedy greats like Ali Baba, I Go Die, Gordons, Akpororo, Basketmouth, just to name a few.

Checks by Kristina Reports show that tickets for the event, which are available at Fachi Foods, Ajebo Mamaput, Tina’s Lounge and Girly Spice, are already almost sold out.

Last minute buyers can still purchase theirs at Fachi Foods, opposite UBA, along King Perekule Road (New Road), Bonny; Ajebo Mamaput, opposite Police Station, Finima; Tina’s Lounge, opposite Assemblies of God, New Jerusalem Link Road, Bonny; and Girly’s Spice, opposite Salvation Ministries, King Asimini Bypass (Berger Road), Bonny.

Indications that Bonny Island will be lit this Yuletide became evident when more than a week ahead, the organizers, Blossom Entertainment had to scramble up more tickets as the initial numbers sold out.
