The need to enarmour children with literacy skills early on in life has engendered a partnership between a non-governmental organization, Kids Resource Centre (KRC), and a virtual news medium, Kristina Reports, with the aim of achieving this objective.

This consensus was reached when KRC’s Executive Director, Deborah Mogho, and Media Focal, Igey Rokalke, paid a courtesy visit on the Publisher of Kristina Reports, Godswill Jumbo, in his office in Bonny, Rivers State.

“In the last three years, when we started in 2022, we have been working on this programme; and this programme is aimed at helping children to build their literacy skills.”

“The Kids Resource Center is actually a project of Smart Kids Literacy Foundation, a nonprofit that is aimed at promoting literacy in our community.”

She expressed the desire of the Centre to leverage the support of the virtual news medium in achieving media visibility for its programmes and activities, thanking the Kristina Reports CEO for the audience and fruitful discussions.

On his part, the Publisher of Kristina Reports, Godswill Jumbo expressed his delight in the visit by the Kids Resource Center team, stating that the corporate vision of both organizations align, as Kristina Reports is poised on support initiatives that drive social impact.
