Encomiums Pour as DAH-Palladium Hub Launches Sosty Pizza and Burger Place

The Hospitality Industry received a big boost today as DAH-Palladium Hub, a trending event centre in Bonny Island, Rivers State, Nigeria, launched its Sosty Pizza and Burger Place, promising the best of tasty delicacies and welcoming ambience.

The crème-de-la-crème of Bonny society were there at the official opening ceremony performed by no less a personality than a doyen of the Banking Industry, Chief Reginald Hart, who is also the Head of Captain Hart Chieftaincy House of Bonny Kingdom.

His counterparts, Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Bonny Chiefs Council (BCC), Chief Hanniel Jack-Wilson Pepple, and Chief Arthur Willie-Pepple, respectively; Chief Benjamin Adda-Allison, his wife, Carol Allison, who is the Managing Director/CEO, Posh Body Essence & More Limited, and Chief Elliot Jim-Halliday, and His Patricia Jim-Halliday, as well as the Woman Leader and Secretary of Bonny Kingdom, Helen Jack-Wilson Pepple, and Lily Hart, respectively, were on hand to support him in the epochal task of unveiling a brand that would represent hospitality, good food and comfort in Bonny LGA.

The revered Chief praised the ingenuity and business acumen of Dagogo Hart, noting that his decision to set up DAH-Palladium Hub in hometown, Bonny Island after retirement was a noble one, expressing the hope that the kick-off of business activities in the hub would contribute maximally to launch the Bonny economy into the next level of shared prosperity and also boost tourism in the area.  

Others present were former member of the House of Representatives, Randolph Brown; Managing Director and CEO, Skylyte Boutique Hotel, Port Harcourt, Aye Pepple; member, Governing Council, Rivers State University, Prof. Jessica Ezekiel-Hart; a former Commissioner for Finance, Rivers State, Israel Williams; Managing Director, Bonny Delight Hotels, Bonny, Ogbulu Ezekiel-Hart; President of D-Court Hotel, Bonny, Dimieari Green; a former Caretaker Committee Chairman of Bonny LGA, Nelson Irimagha; Community Relations Officer, Nigeria LNG, Nelson Braide; Founder/Executive Director, Adata Bristol Foundation (ABF), Adata Bristol; and Community Liaison Officer (CLO), Arco Maintenance & Engineering Limited, Christian Ezekiel-Hart.

The new restaurant and pizza place was prayed for by the Vicar of St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Abalamabie, Bonny, Reverend Canon Rogers Jumbo before being commissioned by Chief Captain Hart.  

According to the Chairman of DAH-Palladium Hub Limited, Dagogo Hart, the Sosty Pizza and Burger Place would be “the only pizza and burger place that would be of great satisfaction to our customers in Bonny Island,” announcing that it was just a section of the hub and a sub business outfit in DAH-Palladium Hub.

“Sosty Pizza and Burger Place has a welcoming ambience and it opens daily for business from 8am to 11pm. The Place is meant to serve pizza, burger, pastries, continental dishes, ice cream, popcorn, soft drinks and Ellet table water to customers.”

“It is also meant to undertake outdoor catering services to companies and individuals under special arrangement. I urge you, my chiefs, my elders, my friends to reach out to your friends and loved ones to inform them of the importance of such place in town.”

On his part, Managing Director and CEO of Skylyte Boutique Hotel, Port Harcourt, Aye Pepple, described the pizza and burger restaurant as a fantastic achievement by the owner, Dagogo Hart, and the Management of DAH-Palladium Hub, noting that given the huge potentials embedded in Tourism, it was imperative and timely for the people Bonny Kingdom to rise to the occasion and galvanize efforts towards transforming Bonny into a choice destination for Tourism.

For the Woman Leader of Bonny Kingdom, Amaopuorubo Helen Jack-Wilson Pepple, returning home after retirement from public service to establish a business entity that will upscale the business profile of Bonny Kingdom, provide jobs and avail residents a fitting place of relaxation after work and during weekends was a commendable gesture.

“From what I have seen here today, I just want to say a very big thank you. Our son, our brother, a titled citizen of this kingdom worked in the civil service, retired and was able to put up this edifice. Some other persons would have put up this kind of structure in Port Harcourt, Lagos, you name it; but he decided to come back home.”

This is what the Igbos call “aku ru uno”; he has planted his wealth here and what we have here is going to engage workers both men and women and they will work, earn salary, and this is a relaxing place after working hard. Our people should learn how to relax like over the weekend you come here with your family, with your wife and children over a glass of wine, relax and have the best of life.”

Sosty Pizza and Burger Place has shown to be ready for that kind of business and companies like where they can go that is very serene, very secure and hospitable and with varieties that will spice up their lives. I am happy that Amaopusenibo has done this.”  

Also adding his voice to the trending encomiums, Operations Director of Riviera Technical Services Limited, Blessing Ezekiel-Hart described the day’s event as milestone for the growth of businesses in Bonny LGA, calling on residents and indigenes to patronize the newly opened restaurant and other facilities in the hub.
