Countdown Hots Up As Endorsements Trail BONFEST

As the momentum builds up to the maiden edition of the Bonny Fish Festival, BONFEST, prominent personalities have continued to endorse the event which promises to set Bonny Island agog with excitement and unimaginable fun. 

These include a former Executive Director of the Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA), Amasenibo Larry Pepple, Vice Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Hon. Anengi Barasua, Secretary of the King Perekule Palace, Bonny, Se-Alabo Abel Attoni, wife of the former Lawmaker representing Degema/Bonny federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Mrs. Esther Randolph-Brown, among others.

Endorsements on the roll…

BONFEST is billed to hold on Friday, December 27, 2019 at the Boyle Memorial School Premises, Ward III, Orosikiri, Bonny Island, Rivers State.

Other personalities who have given their endorsement to the event are the Chairman of the Bonny Integrated Recruitment Centre (BIRC), Mayor Aladiokuma Hart, Amasenibo Elliot Kalada Hart, among others.

According to the organizers, Creative, Organized, Knowledgeable and Efficient (COKE) Team, “BONFEST seeks to showcase a variety of seafood delicacies that can be made with the use of fish, our highly nutritious seafood, and also to inspire people to reduce the intake of red meat.”

“BONFEST will also showcase our culture in FASHION, DANCE and MUSIC with lots of social interaction.”

The COKE Team opined that the goals of BONFEST is “to bring back our almost lost rich heritage and culture,” and “to attract more tourism by providing our guests with utmost satisfaction and memorable experience.”

Sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and everyone is invited to take advantage of this event to showcase their delicacies and be part of an unfurling and unique history which has the potential of changing the food, health and entertainment dynamics of the Niger Delta region and Nigeria in general.
