“Before us this afternoon at D/Line, Port Harcourt City, a cab man abducted three school children from a woman that was about taking his cab on a drop after school. She put the children in the cab and just turned to enter the cab, when this fool drove off with the children to an unknown destination for his selfishness purpose.”

Augustine Awoyesuku said that 2the cab driver felt that nobody will recognize him but through the mercy of God he was caught.”

“Probably with the mind that nobody took notice of him or nobody recognized him. But as God would have it, on sighting his face and the colour of the cab, she recognized him and raised alarm, we all ran out and accosted the man, after much interrogation he accepted that the 3 children are locked up in his house”.

He, however, thanked the police for responding fast to arrest the culprit.

Port Harcourt had recently been in the news for the recurring incidences of kidnap, ritual killings and rising cases of criminality with residents calling on the security agencies to up their game in arresting the ugly trend.
