BREAKING: Abia State Governor, Ikpeazu Appoints New Chief of Staff
The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has approved the appointment of Chukwuemeka Enwereji as his new Chief of Staff.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Onyebuchi Ememanka announced the appointment via a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 in Umuahia, Abia State.
Ememanka noted that, in his new role, Enwereji will coordinate activities in the Governor’s Office and ensure seamless exit formalities for the administration, adding that the appointment takes immediate effect.
Enwereji holds a Master of Law (LL.M) degree from the University of Lagos, as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Abia State University, Uturu. He also attended the Nigerian Law School after which he was called to the Nigerian Bar.
An established player in the financial services sector of the Nigerian economy, Chukwuemeka Enwereji had previously served as Company Secretary, and later, General Manager/Country Head of Travelex, a well-known global financial services provider.
