Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has appointed Dr. Anthony Agbazuere as his new Chief f Staff.

A statement by the Governor’s office says the appointment takes immediate effect.

A former Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Dr Agbazuere was, until his new appointment, the General Manager of the Abia State Passenger Insurance Manifest and Safety Scheme.

Dr Agbazuere, who holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Law, was also a former Chairman of the Abia State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), and a former Chairman of Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area.

The Governor also approved the appointment of Eze Chikamnayo as his new Special Adviser on Strategy and Communications.

Chikamnayo was also a former Commissioner for Information in the State.
