BKDC Hails Workers at May Day Celebration, Eulogizes Their Fine Qualities

The Bonny Kingdom Development Committee (BKDC) has congratulated workers as they mark the 2023 International Workers Day, saying that the fine qualities they exude has added amazing value to workplaces the world over.

Chairman of BKDC, Amaopusenibo Amairigha Hart, who said this in a statement to mark the Workers Day, also known as May Day, which is a public holiday across the world, commended the working population for their invaluable contributions to the development of society.

“We at the Bonny Kingdom Development Committee (BKDC), therefore, join the global community to celebrate fine qualities of industry, innovation, integrity, passion and faith exuded by workers across the world and wish you all a memorable celebration.

“We cannot but note that the contributions of workers in diverse fields of human endeavour have made society better, habitable and conducive. This cannot be wished away.”

He pointed out that Bonny Kingdom in Rivers State has been involved in business for over two centuries and in the course of this has had to provide employment for a teeming and diverse population that has rendered it a cosmopolitan community as at today, observing that Bonny sons and daughters are distinguishing themselves in different parts of Nigerian and in the Diaspora.
