Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno Applauds Tinubu’s Inclusive Leadership Style

Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu got some accolades from Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, who applauded his style of leadership, which he described as inclusive and thorough.

Eno gave this applause on Friday, September 22, 2023 while addressing a group of Nigerians and investors in New York, United States.

The Governor was part of the delegation that accompanied President Tinubu to the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations.

He expressed utmost satisfaction in the leadership of the President, who in spite of political party differences, carries everyone along to ensure a smooth sailing of the administration, stating that it signifies hope for a better Nigeria.

“I am a PDP member and I am on a different political platform, but the President has shown a fatherly disposition as a man who practices what he says and there is inclusivity and we are working together and I thank him because his gesture gives us hope for our country.”

Harping on his ARISE Agenda, Eno reiterated his promise to provide adequate welfare facilities for the elderly as well as model secondary schools in the state.

Speaking on his administration, the Governor elucidated that his government is on the route to the total implementation of his blueprint, the ARISE agenda.

According to him, the young and the old will be paid adequate attention to and will be treated as priority under his governance.

Because of this, unique centers that will cater for the health and well-being of the elderly will be established as well as model public schools and health facilities are in the works for Akwa Ibom people.

“Based on the parameters we set for ourselves, we are setting up model schools to make our schools attractive for our children, we will give them uniforms, books and other incentives.”

“We are embarking on building senior peoples centers to help our elderly, …building healthcare centers across the state and introduction of ambulances in local communities to handle medical emergencies”
