Tactical Boost for Finidi George’s Continental Ambitions
The former Vandrezzer FC player is coming off a stellar, eye-catching campaign in the NNL.
Known formally as Zaha Mahraz Bassey, he is highly regarded across the domestic scene for his tactical flexibility.
Capable of operating effectively in both defensive and attacking positions, his versatility provides a massive boost to the squad depth.
This acquisition is a statement of intent for the squad being dynamically assembled by former Super Eagles head coach Finidi George.
Bassey’s inclusion is expected to heavily fortify Rivers United’s backline and flanks as they gear up for a demanding domestic calendar and a high-stakes CAF Champions League campaign next season.
