LG Chairman Hails Bonny-Born Stanley Pepple On Elevation As Full Aircraft Captain

Moments after being decorated by Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, as a full Aircraft Captain, Bonny-Born Stanley Pepple, has been applauded by the Chairman of his LGA, Anengi Claude-Wilcox on his achievement.

The Bonny Local Government Area Chairman hailed Pepple on his remarkable promotion to the rank of a full Aircraft Captain after successfully completing a command training in London, United Kingdom.

The accolades were conveyed via a statement on Thursday, February 20, 2025 by the Chief Press Secretary to the Bonny LGA Chairman, Boma Waribor.

The statement reads in part:

“The Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Dame Hon Anengi Barasua Claude-Wilcox, DSSRS, JP., has hailed the Bonny-born Stanley Pepple on his remarkable promotion to the rank of a full Aircraft Captain after successfully completing a command training in London, United Kingdom.

He is a native of George Pepple Community in Bonny, a PhD holder from the Rivers State University, who was decorated with his new rank by the Governor of Rivers State, Amaopusenibo Sir Siminialayi Fubara, GSSRS, at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa.

The Executive Chairman while felicitating with Captain Pepple, commended his intentionality on his career development in the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority which is already paying-off.

She described him as a role model to youths and a blazing flag bearer of Bonny LGA, reflecting the fact that hardwork pays.

The Bonny LGA Boss concluded by urging Captain Pepple to keep being a trailblazer with utmost professionalism while praying for God’s guidance and protection to shield him in his line of duty.”

Stanley Pepple’s current feat consolidates on an earlier pilot training programme, which was part of the Human Capacity Development Programme of a former Chairman of Bonny LGA, Edward Pepple, of which he was one of the beneficiaries.

The programme was proposed by the then Supervisor for Youths and Sports, Kenneth Banigo which cost the then administration about N50 million for both the Pilot and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer trainees at the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, Kaduna State.
