Veteran Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has been left devastated after a fire consumed her multi-million naira home in Lagos.
The actress broke the news on December 4, 2024, sharing a video on Instagram that revealed the extent of the damage.
Her once-pristine house now stands in ruins, with bright curtains and furniture reduced to blackened remnants and wooden panels exposed by the blaze.
Expressing her gratitude that no lives were lost, Mercy wrote, “Devastated ! Thank God no life was lost! It is well.”
The tragic event has drawn an outpouring of sympathy from fans, colleagues, and celebrities in the comment section of her post.
