Staff of Kristina Reports, a Port Harcourt based virtual medium have been praised for their professionalism and dedication to duty just as they were commended for bringing high value to public discourse on issues affecting the society and driving policy formulation and public sector interventions in situations where the public good is threatened.

Publisher/CEO of Kristina Reports, Godswill Jumbo made this commendation while receiving the award of “Wari-Ibidoghubo” conferred on him by the Ogbobiri Asawo of Jumbo Major House on Sunday, December 26, 2021 in Bonny.

Jumbo was represented at the End of Year Event and Historic Presentation of Awards organized by the Jumbo Major House Ogbobiri Asawo by Kristina Reports’ Special Projects Advisor, Ibi-Iwari Jumbo, who received the award on his behalf.

The award, according to the Chairman of the Jumbo Major House Ogbobiri Asawo, Eugene Jumbo, was “in recognition of your track record of excellence in your area of endeavour outstanding contributions to the Jumbo Major House, Bonny Kingdom and the society at large”.  

The seasoned media practitioner, who was a former spokesman of the immediate past Deputy Governor of Rivers State, eulogized his team for being the reason behind the many successes he has been associated with, stressing “they made it happen; my boss, Mr. Godswill Jumbo says our team, the Kristina Reports’ team made this award happen, and he has dedicated it to all of us in the team.

“He said it is to the competence they bring to the game and their dedication to duty. They are not just some of the best professionals you can find anywhere but also make their knowledge base, ingenuity, creativity, insightfulness and sheer passion rub off in all we do.”

“So, he wants everyone, including the organizers to note that when people applaud him like this, it’s important they also know those behind his successes and contributions he is making in the kingdom and society. He thanks the Jumbo House Ogbobiri Asawo for the award, and pledges to justify the award by doing more for the growth and development of the House and Bonny Kingdom.”  

The Ogbobiri Asawo Chairman, Eugene Jumbo explained that the leadership of the group deemed it necessary to confer the awards on deserving sons and daughters of the House at its end of year event, noting that the awardees, including the Kristina Reports’ CEO have made critical contributions to the House and the Kingdom that cannot be ignored and thus deserved the awards conferred on them.

He urged members of the Jumbo Major House to remain resolute in their quest for peace and progress in the House, stressing that better days are ahead for the House, adding that the youths, especially hold the ace for glory of the House to manifest.  

The Ogbobiri Asawo is populated by the senior youths and matured adults in the House and form the core of the functionality of the House.
