In a show of solidarity and appreciation, the leadership of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ward 3, Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State has bestowed a vote of confidence on the Chairman of the LGA, Dame Hon Anengi Claude-Wilcox.

A statement by the Special Assistant Media and Publicity to the Bonny LGA Chairman, Henry Hart, and made available to Kristina Reports in Bonny, Rivers State, disclosed this on Friday, March 29, 2024.

The statement revealed that a delegation of the PDP Ward 3 comprising party leaders, unit coordinators, and community leaders, led by its Leader, Godswill Jumbo, passed the vote of confidence on Dame Claude-Wilcox during a courtesy visit to her office on Friday, March 29, 2024 in Bonny.

The PDP Ward 3 delegation showered accolades on the LGA Chairman for her remarkable leadership, which, according to them, has strengthened the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the grassroots level in Bonny LGA.

The delegation, which also had the Chairman, Elders Committee, PDP Ward 3, Dagogo Jumbo, and Chairman of PDP Ward 3, Dagogo Ken-Banigo, amongst other prominent figures in attendance, conveyed the Ward’s unwavering support for the LGA Boss.

Signalling their confidence in her ability to lead effectively, the delegation urged her to gear up for re-election in the upcoming Local Government elections.

During the gathering at Government Lodge, Bonny, the delegation presented a plaque of honour to Dame Anengi Claude-Wilcox, recognizing her outstanding achievements in office and commending her dedication to serving the community.

In her response, the Bonny LG Council Boss expressed gratitude for the endorsement and recognition, emphasizing that the support from the people serves as both motivation and validation of the government’s efforts to meet the needs of the community.

She pledged to continue working tirelessly to uphold the trust placed in her leadership and to further advance the development agenda of Bonny Local Government Area.
