The 2022 edition of the Noble Awards has received massive boost as notable personalities, entertainment groups, and youth associations, amongst others, have indicated their support for the awards.
Recently, Se-Alapu Evans Brown, Charles John-Jumbo and Abel Attoni, Amasenibo Dagogo Tobin, the lawmaker representing Ward 5 in the Bonny Legislative Assembly, Hon. Ene Tobin, Director General of the Bonny Unity Carnival (BUC) Team and former Miss Bonny, Gift Jumbo, and the King Perekule Royal House Youth Association, amongst others, in separate events, identified with the annual awards.
The latest partnership deal between the King Perekule Royal House Youth Association (KPRHYA) and the Bonny Volunteers Council (BVC) was sealed on Monday, August 1, 2022 in Bonny, Rivers State.
KPRHYA delegation was led by its Leader, Victor Pepple, while Emmanuel Jumbo led the BVC team.
Speaking at the event, the Convener of Bonny Volunteers Council (BVC), organizers of the Noble Awards, Emmanuel Jumbo said the annual award is aimed at encouraging those making social impact in volunteer capacity to do more to improve society.
“The purpose of the award is to celebrate those who have been putting in positive efforts in their own ways to make society better.”
“We all know that there will never be a time when government is going to be perfect, that is why we need to people to volunteer in different areas of life.”
“Now for those who have been volunteering their time, money and position to help mankind and society to progress and develop we want to give them awards in order to encourage them and also to inspire the younger ones with good intentions.”
In his remarks, the Leader of the King Perekule Royal House Youth Association (KPRHYA), Victor Pepple expressed delight in identifying with the Noble Awards, saying that the Bonny Kingdom Royal family is pleased with any initiative geared towards celebrating positive things about the kingdom.
According to him, the essence and vision behind the Noble Awards inspired the move by the Youth Association of the Perekule Royal family to partner with the Bonny Volunteers Council (BVC), noting that the award celebrates the positive values, sacrificial spirit and good intentions of the Ibani people.
The Bonny Volunteers Council has, in the recent weeks, been engaging with critical stakeholders in preparation for the 2022 edition of the awards, which promises to be an interesting time.
