There are heightened expectations that the quality of educational content being dispensed to school children will be improve with the arrival of Deeper Life High School (DLHS), the academic flagship of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, in Bonny, Rivers State.
Representative of DLHS in Bonny, Meriben Chidinma, who disclosed this to Kristina Reports in a chat recently in Bonny, Rivers State, said the opening of the Bonny campus of the school would afford children in the area access to higher quality of education.
He informed that the School officially comes on stream with Basic 7 in Bonny LGA by September as the 2023/2024 academic session starts, stressing that aside being a full boarding school, it has the necessary facilities for wholesome academic activities to thrive.
“As you can see, we have hostels for the boys as well as the girls, there is a cafeteria, multipurpose hall, laboratories, ICT centre, library, lecture halls, administrative offices, and field for games.”
“The idea is to give the students a wholesome experience in academics and morals. The study and the play will as well stimulate their minds, to learn new things and to prepare them for the future in line with the vision of our proprietor, Pastor Dr W.F. Kumuyi.”
Recall that Deeper Life High School posted the highest scores in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) as well as sky high performances in several other examinations and assessment platforms.
According to Meriben, the school representative, upon inception, Deeper Life High School, Bonny will be the second in Rivers State and the 23rd in Nigeria. It will hit the ground running with Basic 7 (JSS1).
A mission co-educational boarding school, Deeper Life High School, Bonny, follows quickly on the heels of DLHS Rumuokparali in Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State and promises to change the narrative of educational deliverables in Bonny LGA.
Information available to Kristina Reports indicate that there is massive investment in modern learning technology to ensure access to an entirely e-learning environment, providing cutting edge facilities for laboratory and research experience, competent and committed teaching and administrative personnel, as well as a conducive environment.
Founded in September 2010, DLHS is the brain-child of the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor (Dr) William Kumuyi, whose passion for godliness, upright leadership and moral excellence is well acclaimed.
It can be said that the DLHS is Pastor Kumuyi’s special purpose vehicle for grooming a new generation of future leaders with sound values and deep convictions that are rooted in God’s word, a vision borne out of his unflagging commitment to helping young people discover their purpose and moral direction in life.
The DLHS Bonny Principal told Kristina Reports that admissions are on for basic 7 (JSS 1) and further information can be gotten at the school within the premises of Deeper Life Bible Church, Bonny Region Headquarters, opposite General Hospital and adjacent to Central School, Bonny. There is also drive in access from Ukpo Avenue through Foundation Faith Church Road, Bonny.
