In what is akin to a phoenix rising from its ashes, the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny, Rivers State appears ready for business as it has just announced full accreditation for its Petroleum Marketing programme.

According to a notice on its Notice Board on Monday, March 4, 2024, the Institution announced that the Department of Petroleum Marketing has been given full accreditation to start its National Diploma programmes and also set up the Higher National Diploma programmes.

This effectively positions the institution to take the lead as a major competitor in the academic environment by providing topnotch training in a key aspect of the Oil and Gas supply chain.

The notice called on prospective students to apply for admission into the Department while registering for this year’s Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on the admissions portal of the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB).

The Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny was established in 2014 to bridge the skills gap in the Oil and Gas and maritime sector of the economy.
