President of D-Court Hotel Group, Engr. Dimieari Green, FNSE, has showered plaudits on his staff for their dedication to duty, passionate commitment and dexterous hardwork which has seen the hotel remain among the tops in the hospitality industry in Bonny Island.
Engr. Green, who made this commendation on Saturday, February 26, 2022 in Bonny, Rivers State at the 3rd Annual Get-Together and Awards Nite for staff and service partners of the hotel, praised them for their invaluable contributions to make the hotel maintain its optimum service delivery to its large and growing clientele.
“You all have been doing well. There are a lot of testimonies; guests come in here and when they go back, they want to come back again due to your service deliverables.”
“The kitchen is doing fantastically well. I’m impressed with the housekeeping. The reception is doing very well; Keep it up, and keep on delighting our guests. Everybody is doing their best, though, there is still room for improvements.”
He, however, pointed out to the staff that just as their hardwork and commitment would be commended, they should also make efforts at self-improvement as their professional growth was important to Management.
“During the NLNG shutdown, you wake up as early as 3am to prepare breakfast for guests on morning duty and stay back to support the next shift. This is a true manifestation of team work. I encourage all of you to continue to imbibe team spirit in all your services. So, I sincerely thank you all.”
“You know like our normal tradition, I appreciate everybody. If you do the right thing, I will always tell you thank you. The same way if you do the wrong thing, I will tell you, you didn’t get it right.”
“We have come a long way in tolerating ourselves. There are some people who decided not to tolerate us and they are no longer here. But we will continue to build on one family ground. This is your company, protect your company. Our goal is to be the hotel of choice.”
He reiterated his promise that the Annual Get-Together and Awards Nite would continue, informing that it was aimed at appreciating the efforts of staff and service partners and also serve as morale booster for them to keep challenging themselves to improve on their service deliverables and professional growth.
“I want you all to put in more. To whom much is given, much is expected, right? Normally, I want to be doing this thing like two times in a year. We are going to use performance appraisal and guests’ feedbacks to adjudge the quality of your service deliverables and that would attract additional incentives.”
