For exemplifying excellent customer management and achieving business growth for the hotel, the management of D-Court Hotel, celebrated her staff in a special way.
Amidst conferring awards and gifting them with special packages, President of the hotel, Dimieari Green appreciated the staff for their concerted efforts in pulling back D-Court Hotel from the brink of collapse, saying that the staff deserve to own the achievements given the exemplary sacrifices they made to grow the business as the business year closes out.
In his speech at an End-of-Year bash to fete the hotel staff, Green praised their altruism, extolled their commitment and dedication to duty, stating that there was much inspiration to draw from the passion exhibited by the staff members which catapulted the revenue and clientele of the hotel to new heights.
“I sincerely appreciate the workers because they made it possible. It is not me. I am in Lagos, they are the ones who made it. So, it is their success.”
“That is why I appreciate this staff because 2020 was a challenging year. When Bonny was on total lockdown, we could not get food; those people could go through apiam way to Igonipolo and carry food on their head through corner, corner until they get here. They will work from 2am to 12 midnight the next day.”
While applauding the managerial expertise of the manager, Boma Green, the oil and gas and real estate tycoon asserted that D-Court Hotel was the best in Bonny Island given its excellent offerings in terms of services, disclosing that in line with COVID-19 protocols the hotel was constantly fumigated against viruses with a nano gun in place, a provision, according to him, no other hotel can boast of in the area.
“God was favourable to us at a period that everybody was falling sick, none of them reported sick because they observed al the protocols of COVID-19. In fact, when NLNG came visiting us, we were the ones that were given the pass mark because I work in emergency response, so, I know about it.”
“Every night we fumigate here against virus. We have a nano gun, no hotel in Bonny has a nano gun. As you come in here, you see all these edges we fumigate it, we spray all the corridors and everywhere.”
Dimieari Green, a former energy expert with ExxonMobil Nigeria, promised the business community and other visitors to Bonny Island that “D-Court Hotel is coming with a bang”, urging them to expect more optimized customer friendly services in 2021 as they continue to patronize the hotel.
Manager of the D-Court Hotel, Boma Green predicated the sustained patronage enjoyed by the hotel on the classy services offered which was comparable to none in the island, stating that the hotel management was committed to raising the bar of client satisfaction by continuous improvement of its unique offerings.
“It is what makes our customers to come back another day. When they go to other places, they don’t get the attention we are giving to them, they don’t get the services we are giving to them, they don’t get the hospitality we are giving to them, that is why anytime they come to Bonny, they say it is the D-Court they want to come to.”
She praised the President, Dimieari Green for his fatherly approach to managing the staff, noting that “he takes all of us as his children,” revealing that part of the perks of working with D-Court Hotel were medical insurance for the workers, appreciation of outstanding performance through conferment of awards and special recognitions and gifting of special packages.
