The Benstowe Youth Movement in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State has eulogized their kinswoman and Queen of Bonny Kingdom, Her Royal Highness, Queen Paula William Dappa Pepple for her commitment to peace, stability and development of the Kingdom.
Youth Leader of the House, Edwin Benstowe gave this eulogy on Monday, February 12, 2024 during an event to mark the birthday of the Queen at Benstowe Opuwari in Bonny, Rivers State.
“Queen Paula has made Bonny proud to stand out as an example to others; a sincere, selfless, humble, and courageous Queen, who, as a product of her alma mater, Boyle Memorial Primary School, remains steadfast to her commitment towards the peace, unity, stability and development of the Kingdom.”
He stated that members of the Benstowe Chieftaincy House in Bonny Kingdom were celebrating Queen Paula for her unwavering commitment in upholding and supporting the King’s dream of transforming Bonny Island, noting that she has made the Benstowe Chieftaincy House proud.
The Benstowe Youth Movement also donated food items to the elderly and later visited the Queen’s alma mater, Boyle Memorial Primary School, Bonny, and later Government School, Bonny, where they donated books to the pupils also cut birthday cakes in honour of the Queen as well as give a bottle of wine to each school.
“The event that happened today is a celebration of the birthday of the Queen of Ancient Grand Bonny, Her Majesty, Queen Paula Edward Asimini William Dappa Pepple.”
“The youth body of Benstowe Chieftaincy House, the Congress actually sat and agreed that they will celebrate her because I think this is just the first and is historical in Bonny Kingdom. The reason for this is to save the future of the youth.”
“We have actually agreed to go to her alma mater, the Boyle Memorial Primary School of Grand Bonny, and also proceed to Bonny Government School where we sensitized the pupils and told them the essence of living right and also advising them to shun cultism and drugs.
“We also advised them that they should adhere to whatever they have been told in school, honour and obey their parents that they will live long and ensure that they sit and read their books because we are products of such advice.”
“We told them that Her Majesty actually passed through the four walls of Boyle Memorial Primary School, Bonny. She actually did sit and read her books and she obeyed her parents that’s why she grew by the grace of God and being met by His Majesty, the King and today she is doing well and has given Bonny the crown prince of this Kingdom.”
Highpoint of the activities was a get-together organized by the Benstowe House Youth Association in Bonny where other youth bodies were invited to join them in celebration of the Queen’s birthday.
