The halftime performance, curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, marks the first time FIFA will stage a Super Bowl-style musical show during the World Cup final.

The event is expected to be one of the most-watched live entertainment broadcasts globally.

Burna Boy is also expected to perform “Dai Dai,” the official anthem of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, alongside Colombian superstar Shakira.

The song has enjoyed widespread global recognition since the tournament began.

The halftime show will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative aimed at raising funds to expand access to education and football opportunities for children around the world.

Burna Boy’s inclusion further cements his position as one of Africa’s biggest global music exports, adding another milestone to a career that has seen him perform on some of the world’s biggest stages.
