The FRSC Zonal Commander, who was accompanied by the Sector Commander, Rivers State Zone 6, Corps Commander Udoh Inyang, described the Nigerian Navy as a reputable security organization.

He equally stressed the need for training for personnel of various security agencies on defensive driving, convoy driving and other forms of road usage, while emphasizing the need for personnel to have and carry on them their driving licenses while driving on the road.

He pointed out that though security personnel may be accorded respect per esprit de corps while driving, should they be involved in any incident, the first thing to be demanded of them would be their driving license.

Assistant Corps Marshal Benamaisia informed that to close this gap the FRSC is integrating initiatives to reduce processing time for driving licenses, especially for soldiers and other security personnel, appealing for the support of the Nigerian Navy to ensure success.

Responding, the Commanding Officer of the NNFOB, Capt. Emmanuel Fingesi expressed his appreciation to the FRSC Corps Marshall for the visit, saying that the move will improve inter-agency collaboration and enhance safety and security on the road.
