Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG) has congratulated the Amanyanabo and Natural Ruler of the Ancient Grand Bonny Kingdom, His Majesty, King Edward Asimini William Dappa Pepple III, Edward I, Perekule XI, DSSRS, CON, JP, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

In a statement on its official Meta (formerly Facebook) page, NLNG described the milestone as a time to acknowledge the King’s contributions to the growth and stability of the Bonny Kingdom.

“This remarkable milestone provides an opportunity to celebrate a life of profound leadership, wisdom, and devotion to the progress of the Bonny Kingdom and its people,” the statement read.

NLNG noted that the King’s leadership has played a key role in creating a stable and supportive environment for its operations on Bonny Island for more than 20 years.

“The Kingdom has remained a bastion of stability and partnership, an enabling environment that has supported NLNG’s journey on Bonny Island for over two decades.”

The company joined others in honouring the monarch’s leadership and legacy.

“We join the people of Bonny Kingdom, the Niger Delta, and the entire nation in paying tribute to a monarch whose enduring legacy continues to shape the path of development and unity.”

The message ended with a wish for the King’s continued strength and fulfilment in the years ahead.

“May this new chapter bring continued grace, strength, and fulfilment.”
