All things being equal, Villareal’s forward, Samuel Chukwueze is set to link up with fellow compatriot, Noah Okafor at AC Milan, while Victor Boniface and Ola Aina remains hot on Bayer Leverkusen attack, and Nothingham Forest’s wing back as next League Season returns.
Nigeria’s Victor Boniface joins Bayer Leverkusen on a five year €20million deal.
The 22-year-old forward joined from Royals Union Saint-Gilloise where he scored 22 goals and registered 12 assists and was named UEL’s joint-top scorer in the 2022/23 season.
Fellow compatriot, Noah Okafor has signed as an AC Milan player on a five-year deal. He joined the Club from FC Red Bull Salzburg on a permanent deal that lasts until Friday, June 30, 2028.
The striker, who was born to a Nigerian father, will wear the number 17 jersey in his time with the Rossoneri.
Okafor is set to link up with Nigerian winger, Samuel Chukwueze, who is close to an official deal with the Milan side, with a €20million fixed fee plus add-ons being negotiated.
Away from Italy, Ola Aina is set to make a return to the Premier League and link up with fellow Nigerians, Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis, at Nottingham Forest following a one-year deal from Torino after the expiration of his contract.
Coach of Nottingham Forest, Steve Cooper said this of him:
“He’s a versatile player who has good experience of the Premier League and Serie A. He’s a really good player, but a good athlete as well. He’ll definitely make the team stronger.”
The 26-year-old defender joined Torino on loan from Chelsea in 2018 and on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, Torino triggered Aina’s option for a permanent transfer.
He was loaned briefly to Fulham during the 2020-2021 season but then returned to the Italian Side.
Sticking with England, English outfit, Fulham, are advancing in talks to sign Nigerian International, Calvin Bassey from Ajax.
The 23-year-old defender is expected to have medical and finalise personal terms in the coming days.

Furthermore, Fulham centre-back, Tosin Adarabioyo is expected to leave the Club as many clubs including AS Monaco are in hot pursuit of his signature.
Tosin was born to Nigerian Parents in the city of Manchester and has represented England at the youth level but he is eligible to play for the Super Eagles through descent.
