Nigeria U17 girls have made it to the final after a 3-1 victory over Cameroon in the semifinals of the ongoing 2023 Girls U17 African Nations Volleyball Championship in Abuja.
The first set ended 26-24 in favour of Nigeria, Cameroon then attempted to get back into the game with a 23-25 win in the second set. Hosts Nigeria made sure that was all the Cameroonians got as they went on to win the next two sets (3rd set: 26-24, 4th set: 25-19).
Nigeria will confront Egypt in the final tomorrow, Thursday, December 7, 2023, by 16:00 and look to take revenge for the day one defeat and win the competition.
