The Rivers State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has called on political officeholders, captains of industry, academia, and other relevant stakeholders to utilize its Roundtable to showcase their achievements, ideas and opinions.
This was disclosed in a statement by the State Secretary of the union, Ike Wigodo, on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in Port Harcourt.
The statement reads:
“PRESS RELEASE
Following the recent inauguration of the steering committees of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Rivers State Council,
the Roundtable Committee wishes to inform the general public that the NUJ Roundtable is offering a platform for public officers, politicians, private sectors, captains of industries, academia and relevant stakeholders in the society the opportunity to showcase their achievements, ideas and opinions to the public.
The committee through the state council urged the public to key into this program and maximize NUJ wide reach and acceptance.
