Pipe Insultation Training Berths In Bonny, Organizers Urge Mass Participation

As the Train 7 project of the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG) moves to commissioning phase, a one-week intensive training in pipe insulation for residents of Bonny Island in Rivers State is set to kick off in a week’s time.

The training programme is being organized by Emmaida Integrated and Service Limited in conjunction with the Office of the Director of Social Welfare and Community Development in the Bonny Youth Federation (BYF).

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Emmaida Integrated and Service Limited, Emmanuel Jumbo, the one-week pipe insulation course includes theory and practicals, stating that participants would be awarded certificates at the end of the programme.

He further informed that the programme would kick off on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Salem Education Centre, Ibaningo Road, Bonny by 6pm daily.

He urged interested persons to take advantage of the opportunity by purchasing their registration forms at United Bank for Africa (UBA) Branch in Bonny, Rivers State.

Jumbo explained that knowledge and expertise in pipe insulation is a much sought-after skill in the construction industry, encouraging residents of Bonny Island to participate in the training to broaden their skills set.                                                    

The Emmaida Integrated and Service Limited CEO informed that his has been accredited as a training centre by Skills Development and Certification Department of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment.

According to him, the accreditation for the training centre for skills such as Electrical Installation, Plumbing, Pipe Fitting, Mechanical Trades, and General Safety.
