The Rivers State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has felicitated the State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, on the occasion of his 50th birthday celebration.

This felicitation was conveyed via a statement on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of its Caretaker Committee, Godspower Lekia, and Boma Waribor, and made available to the Media in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The Union expressed appreciation to the Governor for his commitment towards the development of the State bringing about positive and tangible changes.

The Union also lauded the administrative efforts of the Governor in ensuring transparency and accountability which has created a good ambience for the media to thrive.

The Union wished the Governor well and asked the Almighty for good health, wisdom and strength on the leader to pilot the affairs of the state to greater height.
