The Rivers State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) now has a new Public Relations Officer (PRO), Olufemi Ayodeji Ayodele, a Deputy Superintendent of the Corps (DSC).
DSC Ayodele was redeployed from the Office of the Director of Public Relations (DPR), Abuja to take over from Akin Michael Oguntuase, an Assistant Commandant of the Corps (ACC), who was until his redeployment the PRO Rivers State Command but now posted to the National Headquarters (NHQ) of the NSCDC Abuja.
This was announced in a statement signed by the outgoing PRO, ACC Oguntuase on Sunday, March 6, 2022 and made available to Journalists in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
In an online message to Journalists in Rivers State, the incoming PRO, DSC Ayodele while extolling the virtues of his predecessor, expressed delight in the opportunity to engage with Media professionals in the State, appealing for sustained synergy with the Corps as it was with his predecessor.
“It gives me a great pleasure being amidst you Noble professionals. My outgoing Boss, Assistant Commandant Michael Oguntuase has said a lot of magnificent things about you all.”
“Assuredly, he has been a very diligent, highly resourceful and dedicated PRO; may God bless him richly as he steps up to undertake higher responsibilities.”
“Please extend much more Synergy you had with him to me so that together we can make media aglow the more. Thank you all and may God bless the work of our hands.”
With the arrival of a new PRO for the NSCDC in Rivers State, it is envisaged that the corporate reputation of the Corps as a consequence of its strategic engagement with stakeholders, especially, the Media, would skyrocket in the coming days.
