The Nigeria Premier Football League is reportedly set to take a break after Matchday 32 to enable Rivers United play her outstanding games.
The Pride of Rivers who were Nigeria’s sole representatives at a point in the season, accumulated six outstanding games due to their involvement on the continent.
This was by revealed Mr Emeka Nwani, former media officer in the NPFL via X.
NPFL Matchday 31 games are scheduled for this weekend and Rivers United will face off with league leaders, Enugu Rangers after a commanding 3-1 win over Plateau United in the previous matchday.
