Moses Usor was the driving force behind LASK’s dominant 4-1 win over Austria Wien in the Austrian Bundesliga, producing a goal and an assist in a complete attacking display.

The 24-year-old made his impact felt early at the Raiffeisen Arena, setting up the opening goal before adding the third himself as LASK raced into a commanding lead within 14 minutes.

Usor has now scored in back-to-back matches, taking his tally to 10 league goals this season. Across all competitions, the Nigerian forward boasts 14 goal contributions, underlining his growing influence in LASK’s attack.

The breakthrough came inside five minutes when Modou Cissé converted from a precise pass by Usor. Austria Wien’s task became even tougher in the 12th minute after Tin Plavotic was sent off, leaving the visitors a man down.

LASK quickly took advantage, with Kasper Jørgensen doubling the lead moments later. Usor then turned scorer, finishing off Sascha Horvath’s pass to make it 3-0 and effectively put the game beyond reach.

Although Tae-Seok Lee pulled one back for Austria Wien in the 16th minute, LASK remained in control. Sasa Kalajdzic added a fourth goal in the 33rd minute after a well-worked move involving Andrés Andrade.

The result keeps LASK in fourth place with 22 points, level with Rapid Wien, who sit third on goal difference in the Bundesliga championship group.

Gong nets brace to power Spartak Trnava comeback

In Slovakia, Hilary Gong delivered a match-winning performance off the bench, scoring twice to inspire Spartak Trnava to a 4-1 comeback victory over Podbrezova.

Introduced in the 76th minute, Gong wasted no time making an impact, scoring just three minutes after coming on before adding another shortly after to seal the win.

The visitors had taken the lead in the 20th minute through Roland Galcík, but Spartak responded before halftime as Idjessi Metsoko equalised with a composed finish assisted by Erik Sabo.

The second half saw the hosts take full control. An own goal by Rene Lampreht in the 70th minute gave Spartak the lead before Gong’s late brace completed the turnaround in emphatic fashion.

The 27-year-old now has three league goals this season, along with two assists and additional contributions in cup competitions, bringing his total to seven goal involvements in 18 appearances.
