MobLand Season Two Returns With Hardy, Brosnan And Mirren

MobLand has returned for its second season, bringing Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren back to Paramount+ for another chapter in the Harrigan family’s criminal power struggle.

Season two premiered globally on Paramount+ on Friday, September 18, 2026, with Hardy returning as Harry Da Souza, the fixer caught between Conrad and Maeve Harrigan, played by Brosnan and Mirren.

The new season continues after the events of the first instalment, with the Harrigan family facing pressure from rivals while attempting to maintain control of its criminal empire.

Harry is again placed at the centre of the family’s increasingly complicated problems as internal tensions threaten to undermine its position.

The season premiere, titled “I Wanna Be Your Dog,” runs for 48 minutes and focuses on the fallout from Maeve and Conrad’s actions while Harry attempts to manage the consequences.

The first episode also introduces developments involving Jan, Kevin, Seraphina and Tattersall as the characters begin positioning themselves for what lies ahead.

Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond join the returning cast for the new season, expanding the drama’s collection of characters as new tensions emerge around the Harrigans.

Flynn has spoken about working alongside Hardy, particularly a lengthy pub scene between their characters that he described as emotionally demanding.

He compared the characters to “boxers in the fifteenth round,” describing the scene as an opportunity to expose another side of Harry.

The returning cast has also addressed the working relationship behind the crime drama, particularly speculation surrounding Hardy and Brosnan.

Brosnan dismissed reports of a feud with Hardy as “a storm in a teacup” and expressed admiration for his co-star’s work.

Mirren has likewise confirmed her willingness to continue working with Hardy, further putting the speculation surrounding the cast’s relationship into context.

The second season is set to run for 10 episodes, with new instalments arriving weekly on Fridays and the season scheduled to continue through November.

Paramount+ has also renewed MobLand for a third season, with Hardy, Brosnan and Mirren set to return.
