Mo Bimpe Sweeps Three Trophies At Emperor Awards In Major Nollywood Victory

Nollywood actress Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, celebrated a major career milestone on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, after clinching three awards at the recently concluded Emperor Awards and shared the achievement with fans on her Instagram page.

The accomplished film star announced the feat in a heartfelt message on her official Instagram handle on Tuesday, declaring: “We brought 3 awards home from the just‑concluded Emperor Awards.”

” Such a beautiful feeling to be recognised for your hard work!”

Mo Bimpe revealed that two of her movies, one in collaboration with her husband and the other led by her, were among the top winners of the night.

She confirmed that “Lisabi”, the historical drama produced alongside her husband, actor Lateef Adedimeji, secured the Digital Movie of the Year award at the Emperor Awards.

In addition, her blockbuster movie “Iyawo Alhaji” dominated its categories, earning Best Actress in a Lead Role for Mo Bimpe herself and Best Actor in a Supporting Role for actor Adeniyi Johnson.

Sharing her joy with fans and colleagues, Mo Bimpe wrote on Instagram:
“LISABI won Digital Movie of the Year, congratulations to us hubby @adedimejilateef.”

“And our fav IYAWO ALHAJI movie got two awards, Nollywood Actress in a Lead Role for me and Nollywood Actor, in a Supporting Role for @adeniyijohnson in IYAWO ALHAJI, congratulations Ondo!”

She concluded her message with appreciation: “We truly appreciate this recognition; it means so much to us, and we won’t stop working hard and creating beautiful movies.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

Mo Bimpe’s triple triumph at the Emperor Awards is widely seen as one of the most significant highlights of her acting and production career so far, reinforcing her status as one of Nollywood’s most celebrated talents.
