A Port Harcourt based cleric and Lead Pastor of Ambassador of Christ Assembly, Godswill Abbey has described a spiritual husband or wife as principalities that cannot be dealt with by casting and binding or merely speaking in tongues.

He said these types of principalities can be dealt with only by divorcing them.

The cleric, who made this revelation recently via his verified social media handle, also disclosed that the prevalent traditional custom of taking foodstuffs to the river to appease a spiritual husband or wife does not divorce them, it rather legalises the union.

The cleric also listed some signs of having spiritual spouse to include; 1. Creeping objects moving around your body. 2. Having sex in the dream. 3. Finding it difficult to get married as a woman, and 4. Uncontrolled anger with urge to destroy household appliances.

Others are 5. Financial downturn for your physical spouse immediately after marriage. This attack comes from the spiritual spouse. 6. Repeated miscarriage especially after making love in the dream at night, and 7. Difficulty in getting pregnant. 8. Breastfeeding or nursing children in dream.

He said when a person realises they have a spiritual spouse; the solution is a divorce.

This divorce, according to Abbey, can be possible if the three witness of water, spirit and blood is present.
