Ministers of the gospel have been charged to stand firm in the exercise of the dominion Jesus Christ has given them and not falter to the antics of demonic influences.

The International President of the Ministers with Excellent Spirit International Fellowship (MESIF), Austin Ugbeh gave this charge on Saturday, June 3, 2023 during a One-Day Impact Ministers Conference organised by MESIF in Port Harcourt.

He said only genuine ministers operating in the anointing can have dominion over satanic influences, admonishing them to beware of sin, prayerlessness and divisive tendencies that could alienate them from the anointing.

Ugbeh, a bishop and Lead Pastor of Soldiers of Christ International Ministries, called on ministers who have jettisoned the gospel of Jesus Christ for other contemporary demonic influenced doctrines to re-examine their ministerial claims and return to their source, Jesus Christ.

Speaking on ‘The Laws of Followership’, Lead Pastor of Open Heaven International Ministry, Ezekiel Boyo, charged gospel ministers to prove their mettle in followership before taking the mantle of leadership, stressing that “life trains you through followership and tests you through leadership”.

He noted that the circle of bad leadership, especially, in government can be truncated through proper mentorship for followers.

On his part, the International Programme Director of MESIF and Lead Pastor of Resurrection Life Ministries, Judepraise Oyiborode, an Apostle, expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the event, urging ministers of the gospel to participate often in such meetings, reminding them that “iron sharpens iron”.
